I started the Body Armor Memorial workout series at LAAFB in 2017, recurring quarterly, as a way to bring the community together, raise funds for veteran focused non-profits, and to honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the freedoms we cherish every single day. The workouts are supposed to be a gut-check, and they are supposed to suck, but the efforts and sacrifice you will make over the course of each one pales in comparison to what some of our finest brothers and sisters endured on the battlefield. This opens up perspective, which is the most powerful tool to stay motivated no matter what the challenge in front of you

On May 12th 2018 I competed in my first full IronMan triathlon at Santa Rosa, CA. This was my fourth overall triathlon. After a successful Folds of Honor fundraising campaign during my first Half IM (2017 BayShore 70.4), I was lucky enough to be able to fundraise for another great veteran focused non-profit called The Soldiers Project.

As an Air Force Physical Training Leader (PTL), i have constructed a 6-week training plan to help Airmen reach their Physical Fitness Test (PFT) goals. Whether you are struggling to make the minimum scores, or you have maxed out every single year and just try to better yourself, this easy to follow plan will work for you. In 2018, I will be attempting to improve my run time by 5% and go from a previous 1.5mile PB of 08:31 to a sub 08:00, all while following this simple plan.
